Hamster is releasing Konami’s 1985 run-and-gun shooter Rush’n Attack (“Russian Attack” – get it?) on the Switch eShop today.
The title – which was released under the alternative name Green Beret in Japan and Europe – is part of Hamster’s superb Arcade Archives range. You’re tasked with going behind enemy lines to rescue POWs and start off with nothing but a knife, but you can gain other weapons as you move through the game, including a flamethrower. Toasty!
The game was ported to several home computers in the ’80s, and was also released on the NES in 1987. Will you be downloading it today? Let us know with a comment.
