Japanese Charts: It’s A Familiar Top Ten As Switch Gobbles Up The Competition

Famitsu’s Japanese chart figures are now in for the week ending 24th January, revealing that Switch has once again dominated both the software and hardware tables.

Let’s start with the software chart, where Switch games make up the entire top ten yet again. As we’ve come to expect, Momotaro Dentetsu remains in first place, selling another 92,793 physical copies this week; Ring Fit Adventure and Animal Crossing: New Horizons follow in second and third.

Here are the top 10 (first numbers are this week’s estimated sales, followed by total sales):

It’s another good week for Switch on the hardware front, too, comfortably outselling its industry rivals – although new generation systems are facing stock issues. Here are this week’s figures, followed by lifetime sales in brackets:
